The Illinois Military Family Relief Fund (IMFRF), signed into law in 2003, provides monetary grants to families of Illinois National Guard members and Illinois residents serving in the U.S. Armed Forces Reserve components who were called to active duty as a result of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks...
IMFRF grants are intended to help families defray the costs of food, housing, utilities, medical services, and other expenses that become difficult to afford when a wage-earner has temporarily left civilian employment to be placed on active military duty...
TREA-90 has held two similiar golfing fundraisers for the IMFRF. We are proud of the fact that combining our Fun4Funds2004 & Fun4Funds2006, we have arranged for nearly $5,000 going to the organization (IMFRF)...
100% of all donations go to the IMFRF. We are hoping that our third time will be a real charm, and that we will be able to write our biggest check to the IMFRF yet!

What is involved? Hopefully, we all will experience a pleasant* day of golfing 18 holes, riding in a cart and counting the deer! Feel free to bring your camera as the scenery itself is beautiful. After golfing we will relax and partake of a menu consisting of Hamburger/Hot Dog Buffet including Baked Beans, Coleslaw, Potato Salad & Cookies (Drinks not included)...

Near the end of our dining, we will conduct a door prize drawing of items that have been donated from our sponsors. In years past, we have had enough door prizes so that every golfer walked away with a nice gift. However, there is no guarantee that you will receive a gift, but no one ever knows. Please remember that this event is not about you the golfer & it is not about TREA-90, as it is all about assisting (y)our Illinois Military Families by supporting the Illinois Military Family Relief Fund...

Our Illinois Troops are doing their part, now it’s time for you to do yours. Please, come help us help them. Come join retired military members, veterans, parents & spouses of active duty members, and maybe share some stories, both true and false. This is all about assisting those that have sacrificed so much. Help us make Illinois proud of its Military families as well as its Military members…
Come have some fun and raise some funds at the same time. We don’t care if you shoot 70, on the front 9 and another 70 on the back 9. This is all about supporting our Illinois Military Families. We do follow the etiquette rules of golf, but we really don’t care if you even keep score. This is a Golf Outing and not a Golf Tournament. The only real winner will be the IMFRF. We will have prizes for Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin, and if we have donations given to us, we will give them away via a Door Prize Drawing…
There are many great fundraisers out there, but there is none more important than this one – maybe just as important, but not any more important…
